C S Engineering, Inc. has partnered with Isotek Systems, LLC to execute the U-233 Disposition Project at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. We have provided the entire Nuclear Criticality Safety staff and management, several Safety Analysis Engineers and management, and Fire Protection Engineering management to the project. This project was initiated by the U.S Department of Energy to eliminate the repository of the highly radioactive U-233 isotope. In addition, a unique public-private partnership was formed to extract Th-229 from the fissile material for use as promising source for cancer therapy using the daughter element Ac-225. We have also provided staff to Isotek in the following technical areas: Process Engineering, Design Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Protection, Readiness Assessment, and Pre-Operational Test Engineering.

C S Engineering, Inc. has participated in the major design/build project at the Y-12 National Security Complex for the new Uranium Processing Facility which replaces many of the aging processes with a new and upgraded design. Our Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineers and Safety Analysis Engineers have been essential to the design and regulatory processes and continue to support field deployment of new modular designs. In addition, we have provided Project Managers, Fire Protection Engineers, and Procedure Writers to the project

C S Engineering, Inc. has been supporting Y-12 National Security Complex operations for over 29 years. We participate in the development, operation, and modification of the chemical and metalworking processes that form the primary mission of Y-12 NSC. We have a strong contingent of Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineers and Safety Analysis Engineers that have provided support to the Complex for decades. Our long-term support of the client has given our team of specialists an extensive knowledge of the facilities and systems at the plant site. In addition, we have provided substantial support in the areas of Readiness Assessment, Project Management, Technical Procedure Writing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations System Engineering, and Security Electronics.
